A finished Business Bay tower
Upper Crest is a 43-storey residential tower in Business Bay and has been standing since the developer's stated handover in 2015. DAMAC delivered the apartments furnished, in neutral tones with fitted kitchens, which made the building a straightforward proposition both for owner-occupiers and for landlords letting to people working in the district. The published mix runs from studios through one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and the height of the building means upper floors keep an open outlook across Business Bay.
Business Bay is now one of the denser parts of central Dubai, and the tower sits close to the Downtown attractions the developer points to: the shopping mall, the tall tower and the fountain displays a short drive north. In DAMAC's own answers the building is placed on Al Asayel Street, with access to Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and Ras Al Khor Road, and Dubai International Airport is put at a 20-minute drive.
Because the project is complete, buying here is usually a resale transaction, with any remaining developer units contracted directly with DAMAC. That gives a buyer things an off-plan purchase cannot: an apartment that can be inspected, a known service charge, a visible letting history in the building, and income that can start in the month of transfer. Wincasa Properties checks title, tenancy and service charge on every unit before quoting, and markets the tower as an authorised DAMAC sales partner.
