Malta is one of the themed clusters in DAMAC Lagoons, the Mediterranean-inspired community DAMAC Properties is building in Dubailand and publishes as a 49 million sq ft master plan. The architecture takes its cue from the island it is named after: pale limestone tones, shaded openings and narrow paths between the terraces. These are townhouses rather than detached villas, offered by the developer in four- and five-bedroom configurations, which puts them among the larger family homes in the Lagoons.
The cluster shares the water-led amenities DAMAC has built across the community. The developer's own list for Malta names a beach, a wave pool, a floating amphitheatre, a floating flower market, a building blocks pavilion for children and a VR park. The design intent is that most leisure happens on or beside the lagoon rather than inside a clubhouse, which is what separates DAMAC Lagoons from the developer's golf communities.

DAMAC's published delivery date for Malta has now passed, so the cluster stands at or beyond its stated handover rather than early in construction, and what reaches the market is a mix of any remaining developer stock and resale from original buyers.
