A tower for training
Volta is DAMAC's fitness-led tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the edge of Business Bay. Most residential buildings treat the gym as a room near the car park; here the developer has made physical training the organising theme, with a climbing wall, a boxing ring, an outdoor gym, a jogging track and both indoor and outdoor pools on the shared floors. The homes run from one to four bedrooms and are wrapped in balconies that turn the corners of the building, which is what gives the apartments a long view along the road rather than a single square of glass.
The numbers DAMAC publishes are worth setting out plainly. The starting price on the developer's list is AED 2,457,000, the payment headline is a 1% plan, and the panel shows a Q2 2028 handover while the delivery date recorded against the tower reads June 2029. Those last two do not agree, so Wincasa asks DAMAC to confirm in writing the handover date that applies to the specific apartment before a booking is made. The project is also flagged by the developer as qualifying for the Golden Visa.
The address does a lot of the work. Volta sits on Sheikh Zayed Road with the Burj area, City Walk and Box Park minutes away and Safa One on the opposite side of the road. DAMAC gives The Dubai Mall at about 5 minutes, City Walk and Box Park at 8, Mall of the Emirates at 20 and Jumeirah Beach at 15, with Dubai International Airport a 20-minute drive and Al Maktoum International 40 once operational. Buying runs one way only: the enquiry comes to Wincasa Properties, the sale and purchase agreement is signed with DAMAC Properties, and instalments are paid into the project's escrow account under Dubai Land Department rules, never to the broker.
